You will

  • Refine and implement requirements, guidelines, constraints, and tests for the non-functional aspects of IT solutions, such as code quality, performance, security and regulatory compliance;
  •  Provide test (iteration) plans and/or input on testing activities for each sprint/user story;
  • Collaborate with your team to automate tests where feasible and provide useful information on the quality of the test object(s) and the status of testing activities;
  • Actively participate in continuously improving the software factory by embedding test principles and procedures in the continuous delivery process, and fitting these in a broader test approach (such as performance testing, usability testing, user acceptance testing);
  • Share and incorporate lessons learned in improved working assumptions, testing patterns and developer guidelines.
  • 40 hours per week expected and preferred, 32h exemption might be possible depending on the scope;
  • 2 days per week in the office;
  • Minimum 1680 hours per year expected, (in general 1760);
  • Travel distance within 100 km (or <60 min travel) to Breda is highly recommended.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with testing a complex distributed application landscape;
  • Proven experience with testing web applications, backend applications and the interaction between these applications;
  • Proven experience with applying test design techniques in an Agile environment;
  • Proven experience with software development, allowing you to understand the codebase and contribute to its improvement;
  • Experience with Agile approach, working with Confluence and JIRA and preferably with X-Ray;
  • Experience with Playwright, Tekton/ ArgoCD and Postman is an advantage;
  • Highly skilled in clarifying acceptance criteria while refining user stories (SMART - INVEST);
  • Familiar with Context-driven & Exploratory Testing and testing in a Service Oriented Architecture;
  • Capable of working and thinking at different abstraction levels with business analysts, architects, test managers and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Preferably certified ISEB/ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or TMap NEXT Test Engineer;
  • Proficient in business English, both in writing and speaking. German and Dutch is an advantage;
  • Very accurate and quality minded (finisher). Cooperative and articulated.
